Charity Havercroft holds a BSW from the UAB and a MSW from the University of Alabama. She brings to the organization 20 years of experience serving children and at-risk populations in both the public and non-profit sectors, including six years in Child Welfare. For the last 12 years, Charity has served as the Benevolence Coordinator/Compassion Minister for the Inverness Vineyard Church, overseeing ministry to the poor and disadvantaged, the Orphan Ministry and Human Trafficking Prevention Ministry. The varied experiences laid the foundation for her strengths in engaging diverse populations for skills training and workshops. In 2007, Charity helped launch Vineyard Family Services with Fostering Helps! a supportive program for foster parents and families, offering tools for navigating the child welfare system. She joined VFS again in 2014, with the Understanding Dads curriculum, facilitating in the prison system, work release, recovery, the child welfare system and the general public. She and her husband, Jeff, have been married for fifteen years and have three children.
