ADOPT A SCHOOL SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

 

A school sponsorship is an agreement to provide the financial commitment

to feed a set of 20 or more students in a particular school that needs service.

The Benefits of Becoming a School Sponsor

 

• You get help feed children in need right in your own community.

• It is great for team building or outreach for your church or organization.

• Everyone from toddlers to seniors can participate in a packing party.

• You can receive an in-kind donation tax deduction.

• VFS provides the training and resources to get you started.

• Your group gets highlighted for your sponsorship through various venues.

• There are two ways to sponsor a school:

 

1. Your group purchases food, packs the food, and delivers the food.

2. Your group financially pays for the food but VFS packs and delivers. Your group still receives the credit for the sponsorship.

 

 

 

 

Full school sponsorship:

            

$5,000.00-$6,000

​

Provides food bags for 20 students for an entire school year

 

​

Partial school sponsorship:

       

$2,500.00-$3,000.00

​

Provides food bags for 20 students for half of school year

     

                                         

*Costs vary depending on food drive campaigns.
